Mining Slurry Hose 150 PSI
Mining slurry hose rated 150 PSI is engineered for high-wear transfer of abrasive slurries including ore, tailings, sand, gravel, and mineral concentrates. Constructed with a ultra-abrasion-resistant natural rubber tube, multiple textile cord plies, and a heavy-duty steel wire helix for full vacuum and collapse resistance. The thick rubber cover withstands external impacts, weathering, and ozone. Operating temperature -30°C to +80°C. Available in sizes 2” to 20” ID.
Product description
Application
Designed for suction and discharge of highly abrasive slurries in mining, mineral processing, and aggregate industries. Typical uses: ore slurry transfer, tailings lines, cyclone feed lines, sand processing, mine dewatering, and dredging of mineral concentrates.
Construction
- Tube: High-quality, ultra-abrasion-resistant natural rubber (NR) – smooth bore for unrestricted flow, formulated to resist cutting, gouging, and wear from sharp rocks and mineral particles.
- Reinforcement: Multiple high-tensile synthetic textile cord plies (polyester or nylon) + a heavy-duty galvanized steel wire helix (spiral wound) – provides full vacuum resistance, kink prevention, and structural integrity under high suction.
- Cover: Thick, black, ozone-, UV-, and weather-resistant NR/SBR blend – designed to resist abrasion, impact, and tearing in rugged mining conditions.
Performance
- Working Pressure: 150 PSI (10.3 bar) – consistent across standard sizes
- Burst Pressure: Minimum 600 PSI (4 x working pressure)
- Vacuum Rating: Full vacuum (29 in Hg) – helix prevents collapse during heavy suction lift
- Temperature Range: -30°C to +80°C (-22°F to +176°F)
Available Sizes
2” to 20” (50 mm – 500 mm) ID, standard lengths 6 m, 10 m, 12 m, 15 m, 20 m. Custom lengths available.
Features
- Superior abrasion resistance – tube hardness optimized to withstand high-velocity slurry containing sharp particles
- Full vacuum capability – allows deep suction lifts without hose collapse
- Heavy-duty steel helix – provides crush resistance and maintains round bore under negative pressure
- Thick, tough cover – protects reinforcement from external damage, rocks, and dragging
- High flexibility – easy to handle, coil, and install in tight mining sites
- Large diameters available – up to 20” for high-volume slurry flow
- Static conductive (optional) – dissipates static charge in high-velocity dry slurries or explosive environments
- End fittings compatible – camlock, flanged (ANSI/JIS), or heavy-duty banded couplings
- Long service life – reduces replacements and maintenance costs in continuous operation
