Uhmwpe Chemical Discharge Hose
UHMWPE chemical discharge hose is designed for safe, high-performance transfer of aggressive chemicals, acids, solvents, and corrosive liquids in industrial, marine, and chemical plant applications. Featuring a seamless ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) tube, it offers exceptional chemical resistance, ultra-low friction, and extreme abrasion resistance. Reinforced with multiple high-strength synthetic textile plies and a dual steel wire helix
Product description
Application
Designed for suction and discharge of a wide range of corrosive chemicals, acids, alkalis, solvents, and petroleum products. Ideal for chemical plants, tank truck loading/unloading, marine terminals, industrial processing, and waste treatment facilities.
Construction
- Tube: Seamless, static-conductive UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene) – extremely smooth, non-stick surface, excellent chemical resistance to over 95% of industrial chemicals including strong acids and caustics.
- Reinforcement: Multiple high-tensile synthetic textile cord plies + inner and outer galvanized steel wire helix for full vacuum, crush resistance, and kink resistance.
- Cover: Black, EPDM or neoprene synthetic rubber – abrasion-, ozone-, UV-, oil-, and weather-resistant. Optional conductive cover available.
Performance
- Working Pressure: 150 PSI to 300 PSI (10 to 20 bar) depending on size
- Burst Pressure: 4 x working pressure
- Vacuum Rating: Full vacuum (29 in Hg)
- Temperature Range: -40°C to +80°C (-40°F to +176°F)
Available Sizes
1” to 8” (25 mm – 200 mm) ID, standard lengths 20 m / 30 m / 60 ft.
Standards
Meets or exceeds EN 13765, ISO 1823, and API 1529 specifications for chemical transfer hoses.
Features
- Exceptional chemical compatibility – suitable for strong acids, bases, solvents, and hydrocarbons
- Ultra-smooth UHMWPE tube reduces friction loss and allows higher flow rates
- Extremely abrasion resistant – tube outlasts conventional rubber hoses in abrasive slurries
- Non-stick surface – easy cleaning and minimal residual buildup
- Static conductive tube (≤10⁶ Ω) for safe transfer of flammable liquids
- Lightweight compared to rubber chemical hoses – easier handling
- Steel helix provides full vacuum capability and crush resistance
