Dock Oil Transfer Hose
Dock oil transfer hose is engineered for marine and terminal applications, enabling safe, efficient transfer of petroleum products between ship and shore. Built with a premium oil-resistant nitrile tube, multiple high-tensile textile or synthetic cord plies, and a dual wire helix (both inner and outer for full vacuum and kink resistance). The cover is abrasion, oil, ozone, and seawater resistant – often with a floating design option.
Product description
Product Details – Dock Oil Transfer Hose
Application
Designed for marine and dock transfer of crude oil, gasoline, diesel, fuel oils, and other petroleum-based liquids between tankers and storage facilities, loading platforms, or floating hoses.
Construction
- Tube: Black, static-conductive, oil-resistant nitrile (NBR) synthetic rubber – suitable for aromatic hydrocarbons up to 60%.
- Reinforcement: Multiple plies of high-strength synthetic textile cord plus an inner and outer galvanized steel wire helix for complete kink, crush, and full vacuum resistance.
- Cover: Black, smooth or corrugated, oil- ozone- UV- and seawater-resistant synthetic rubber (CR/NBR blend). Optional abrasion-resistant or fire-resistant cover available.
Performance (Typical – may vary by grade)
- Working Pressure: 150 PSI to 300 PSI (10 to 20 bar)
- Burst Pressure: 4 x working pressure
- Vacuum Rating: Full vacuum (29 in Hg)
- Temperature Range: -30°C to +100°C (-22°F to +212°F)
Available Sizes
2” to 12” (50 mm – 300 mm) ID, standard lengths 10 m / 20 m / 30 m.
